Part 2 of a Time Sensitive Message

The Bible warns us that one of the clearest signs of the last days will be widespread spiritual deception. In 2 Thessalonians 2:11, the Apostle Paul says, "And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie."
This is very real in our time and it IS reality. People are not only rejecting the truth but they are with all their hearts embracing lies! Today, we are seeing that prophecy Paul spoke of unfolding.
Truth is no longer absolute in our culture. It's become relative, flexible, and subjective. What used to be called sin is now celebrated as progress. What once was sacred is now mocked. People are no longer simply just ignoring God's word. They are actively opposing it.
This isn't just moral confusion. It's as the Word of God says...a strong delusion. Sound doctrine is being replaced by motivational speeches. Biblical convictions are being watered down for the sake of popularity. And another one I can think of is that the fear of God has been traded for the approval of man.
As I see it, the very places that people could turn at least to know about Jesus that once were beaming with light are now allowing the enemy in to compromise them! Instead they are beaming false light and security into those who want to hear it.
Jesus himself warned in Matthew 24:24 that in the last days false prophets would arise and deceive many, even the elect, if possible. We are watching this happen on a global scale. This strong delusion is not just a sign. It is a final warning. It is proof that time is almost up.
The world is being conditioned to follow the ultimate deceiver, the Antichrist. But those who walk in the light of God's Word will not be fooled. They will stand firm, ready for the return of Christ.
The Bible makes it clear that the return of Jesus will not be announced with a countdown or a calendar date. It will happen suddenly like a thief in the night as was told to us in the Word of God in 1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. Verse 3 goes on to tell us While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Romans 13:11 says, and do this knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep. For now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
So why am I telling you this? Because too many in the church are asleep, comfortable, distracted, and unaware of the urgency of this hour.
This is not the hour for spiritual laziness. It is the moment to wake up, stand up, and live as if Christ could return at any second because he could.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:42 “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” And in verse 44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
We are surrounded by prophetic fulfillment. Yet many live as if nothing is happening. They are lulled into spiritual slumber by the noise of the world, the busyness of life, and the comforts of culture.
But God is sounding the alarm. It is time to shake off complacency and clothe ourselves in readiness. Being ready doesn't mean living in fear. It means living with focus. It means pursuing holiness, and righteousness, standing for truth, and living with eternity in mind.
The world is getting darker, but that only makes the light of Christ shine brighter through those who are truly awake and alert.
With this said.....
Are you awake or asleep? Are you watching and are you ready? Do you know Jesus?.....BUT better question is Does He know you?
If you've been drifting, now is the time to return. If you've been silent, now is the time to speak. If you've been compromising, now is the time to repent.
Jesus is coming suddenly, not just soon. And only those who are awake and in God's will, will be ready to meet Him. Don't wait. Wake up. The time is now. Because Jesus Christ is not only coming soon. He is coming suddenly. That distinction is vital.
The Word of God warns us repeatedly that His return will be without warning. The time to prepare is now. Each day ahead of us should be lived with an urgency that today could be the day we meet Him face to face. For the believer, Christ's sudden return is our blessed hope. But for the unbeliever, it will be a day of shock and separation.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
