Dan's short Testimony

A short testimony of my life.....

Feeling like the world around you has been, "hellish"? I felt the same way most of my life. After getting out of the US Army, I bounced bars for awhile then moved around a lot until I realized the one thing I was missing was "Peace".

God will not force Himself on you, you have a free will to choose between having His peace, or living in the world which yes, without Him it is like hell. If you ever receive Him, you will know and be thankful that I told you this.

So, I always thought I found Him, but no....He found me, He chased after me. Many years people told me about Him and I rejected their "religion." But it is NOT about religion, but a relationship with the One that wants to not just give you peace, but LOVE, HOPE and JOY. These are not able to be bought, you get them freely when you come to know Him.

Just knowing that I am loved and have others that love me made me change my whole life. I never got the needle in 2020 if you know what I am saying, and am glad, because so many are perishing because of it. But I did die from a heart attack in the year 2000, and YES I did have what is called a "Near Death Experience."

I remember asking the nurses after I was revived, if anyone else had saw what I saw in the afterlife...and they said, "Oh, many times." Backing up a little, I just want to say that this happened after I prayed and asked God to show me that he was real. I will NEVER pray that again.

I can only tell you what I do know from my own personal life. Jesus is real, and so is His love for you which He showed by giving Himself as a sacrifice on the cross for your sins.

Many who are like me who when they gave their lives to Him, have been in peace to this day. YOU MATTER. :-)

2 Timothy 3:1-4 says, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, false accusers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
